Navigo is a company aimed at providing services to companies in the field of sailing in order to increase competitiveness.
150 companies belong to it, 3 specialised Associations (Industrial Association of the Province of Lucca and CAN Lucca, Confartigianato of Lucca), the Chamber of Commerce of Lucca, the City of Viareggio, the Province of Lucca. The main territorial stakeholders (Banks, Consortiums, Trade Union Associations and service companies) also refer to Navigo.
It operates in a context characterized by the presence of the main national production pipeline working in the field of pleasure boats, to create strong and stable synergies between the services that connect the life cycle of the vessel with cultural, environmental and administrative resources of the territory. In particular, Viareggio boasts an annual production of 20% of the international market in the field of mega yachts (pleasure boats exceeding 24 metres). This record includes a wide range of SME’s at the top of the list that guarantee a highly qualified and competitive production model. Navigo is strongly represented by various specializations that form this pipeline, as well as some of its main shipyards. Navigo therefore represents the reference point of the Tuscan Region for coordination of the network centres for sailing competence (PENTA) whose role is to handle the Tuscan Technological District for sailing and ports.
Navigo’s areas of competence include European development, research and development projects, training of skills connected with the world of the yachting industry, digitalization services and instruments for ports and marinas, as well as marketing services and events: Yare, a business event dedicated to yachting after sales and refitting held in Viareggio, B&ST dedicated to meetings between brokers and shipyards and the international exhibition Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, of which Navigo is an organizational partner.
